The New Generation for Africa Project is an NGO dedicated to improving lives in rural areas of Ghana. NGAP seeks to speak less and do more hence tend to undertake social development schemes which contribute to improving lives in rural communities. the NGO operates under 5 thematic areas namely Read Initiative, Heal Initiative, Dwell Initiative, Tech Inintiative and Pro Bono Initiative.
On Thursday 20th, December, 2018 under their HEAL INITIATIVE, NGAP donated boxes containing PURELL Healthcare Surface Disinfectants 946ml, PURELL Healthcare Surface Disinfectants 3.78LT and PURELL Advanced Hand Sanitizer 60ml worth Twenty One Thousand and Five Ghana Cedis and Eight Eight Pesewas (GHC 21,005.88) to the Ghana Health Service - Wa for onward distribution to the following health centers in the Wa West District:
1. Poyentanga Health Center 2. Dorimon Health Center 3. Wechiau Health Center 4. Eggu Health Center 5. Gurungu Health Center 6. Lassia Health Center
This donation was made possible with the generous support of the Prak Foundation (Champion Global) and Gojo Industries USA. These products were supplied free of charge to improve healthcare in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
The Deputy Director, chief pharmacist and head nurse on behalf of the Regional Director thanked NGAP and welcomed future collaborations to improve healthcare in the Region.
NGAP Chairman and team stated that they were committed to contributing their quota to development especially healthcare. The more partners that join the quest the better.
